We Hosted Two Tournaments in One Weekend—Here’s What Happened

Inside: 119 teams, 24 champions, standout performances, full results, and highlights from a historic weekend in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

Good morning,

What a historic weekend for UnitedGoals USA!

For the first time, we hosted two tournaments in two states on the same weekend: the 4th Annual 7v7 Colonial Classic in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, and the inaugural North Carolina 7v7 Cup in Asheboro, North Carolina.

Together, the events welcomed 119 teams and crowned 24 champions. From thrilling championship matches in Western Pennsylvania to an outstanding North Carolina 7v7 debut, the competition, sportsmanship, and community support were incredible in both locations.

Thank you to every player, coach, family, referee, volunteer, vendor, and partner who helped make this milestone possible.

Several teams delivered memorable performances in Cranberry Township.

  • INTER 2016 — U11 Boys Premier: INTER’s rivalry with SVSA Arsenal delivered again. After falling 1–0 in group play, INTER responded with a 4–2 championship victory to avenge the loss. The result completed an incredible 21-day run in which the team won Kicks 4 Canines, the 7v7 July Jamboree, and the 7v7 Colonial Classic.

  • SV United — U12 Boys Premier: The hometown team battled through two penalty-shootout victories over Steel Pickles and Central United to capture a highly competitive division. Every team in the bracket helped make it one of the weekend’s best.

  • Plum Chaos — U14 Girls: Plum opened with a draw against two-time defending champion Millie’s Cone Crushers, edged SH United 3–2 in the semifinal, and completed the run with a 4–1 championship win over Panthers Academy.

Eight different clubs earned championships, with co-host Seneca Valley Soccer Association producing another excellent showing on and off the field.
