Upcoming 4v4 Pittsburgh Preseason Cup + Quick Attack Drill & Team Spotlights!
Inside: quick attack drill, at-home footwork drills, and spotlights on NU United 13F Strikers U13 & Greenlight Premier U10.

Good morning,
My goal with every email is simple: to share my passion for youth soccer and the community that makes it thrive.
I hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear your feedback.
Coach’s Corner: Quick Attack & Decision-Making Drill
Coaches, this drill focuses on building fast attacks through movement, passing, and quick decisions. Players will learn how to recognize space, support the ball, and transition into attack with purpose. It’s easy to adjust for any age group and works well to encourage creativity, communication, and confidence in the attacking aspect of your game.
Parents’ Corner: At-Home Ball Mastery
Parents, just 10 minutes a day of simple ball touches at home can make a huge difference for your players performance in games. Basic movements like toe taps, inside-foot touches, and gentle dribbling, as shown in the video above, will help improve your players’ coordination and comfort with the ball.
Any of the drills in this video can be done anywhere like the living room, garage, driveway, or your backyard. These short, focused reps help young players feel more confident during their games and will make the ball feel like a natural extension of their feet.
NEW: Players Corner — Christian Pulisic: Turning his setbacks into Strength
UnitedGoals USA is excited to launch the Players’ Corner. This will serve as a space that goes beyond the game. Here, players, you’ll get to see how pros like Christian Pulisic, Christiano Renaldo, Trinity Rodman, Alex Morgan, etc., overcome setbacks, step up for their teams, get player insights, tips and tricks, and so much more!
When you see Pulisic flying down the field and scoring big goals, it can be easy to forget the battles he has faced off the field. Early in his career, his injuries kept piling up and kept him sidelined. The toughest part for him though wasn’t the pain—it was learning patience. Instead of rushing back into action, he chose to trust the process, take care of his body, and come back stronger — not just sooner. You can read more by Pulisic here.
He shared that his biggest takeaway from his injuries was that things are not always go to go as planned, but in the end, everything happens for a reason. For young players, like yourselves, that’s the main message: setbacks do not stop your story — they help shape it.
